The moon shone brightly one evening, casting its glow across the Earth. Tiny stars floated down like shimmering invitations, calling to all the animals:
“Come to the moon! First come, first serve—there are only 12 seats at the Lunar Banquet!”

🐭 The Cheesy Pygmy Mouse

The tiniest of all creatures, the pygmy mouse, spotted the invitation first. Knowing it was too small to travel such a long distance,
it hitched a ride on the cow’s back. As the cow soared through the sky, the mouse leaped onto the moon unnoticed. Its nose twitched with excitement as it saw a table filled with moon cheese.
“The moon is made of cheese!” it squeaked in amazement. Taking a big nibble, the mouse savored every bite but paused after a while.
“This is delicious, but it’s no fun eating alone. I hope my friends come soon!” it said with a full belly and a happy heart.
